Australian National Maritime Museum located in Darling Harbour offers unique venues for wedding receptions and ceremonies with magnificent water views overlooking Sydney’s breathtaking city skyline. The museum’s venues are accessible by water and present wonderful photo opportunities along the foreshore and its nautical precinct.

The elegant Terrace Room with an outdoor balcony is a wonderful canvas for you to create and tastefully style your own special event. The newly, modern renovation of Yots offers a unique indoor / outdoor setting adjacent to the harbour-side boardwalk. The Ben Lexcen roof top terrace above Yots has magnificent views as an ideal option for pre-dinner drinks.

For a unique twist, we recommend the museum’s de-commissioned Navy Daring class destroyer Vampire as the perfect venue to commence your celebration on board the stern decks. Pre-dinner drinks with canapés are served whilst the sun sets and the shimmering nightscape appears.

Recently appointed Laissez-faire catering has over 22 years’ experience in providing outstanding cuisine with service of the highest standard. Specialising in cocktail parties, sit down dinners or a modern combination of the two, we have a flexible approach to suit your celebration.

The museum’s spectacular setting will intrigue and delight your guests. Enjoy your special day with family and friends, dining and dancing into the evening, whilst industry professionals take care of every detail for your special event.
