Banjo Paterson Cottage Restaurant operates from a beautiful sandstone cottage that was once home to one of Australia’s most famous poets, Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson.

The cottage is situated within five acres of parkland and is surrounded by magnificently landscaped gardens with stunning views of the Parramatta River.

The quiet and picturesque waterfront setting with landscaped gardens makes it ideal for outdoor wedding ceremonies. Directly below the cottage is a private jetty ideal for arriving or departing by boat.

The cottage seats up to 130 guests for dinner and up to 300 guests for cocktails. The restaurant provides Modern Australian cuisine and an extensive wine list offering some of Australia’s best wines.

Banjo Paterson Cottage Restaurant is available for functions from Tuesday to Sunday (lunch and dinner). Viewing is available by appointment.
